ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SECRETARIAL POSITION POSTING

Job Description:  Elementary School Secretary, 235 days per year, 8 hours per day, competitive benefit package available.

Preferred Qualifications:  Proficient in word processing, bookkeeping and computer skills, excellent personal and organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, good judgment and decision-making skills and work experience with school-age children.  Possess a strong background in Microsoft Desktop Applications to produce publications.

School Nurse Posting

Job Title:  Full Time School Nurse, 8 hours per day, competitive benefit package available.

Job Description:  Provide skilled nursing care for the daily health needs of students, assess medical emergencies, administer emergency first aid, medication and injections, and maintain student health records and district health office data.  Provide skilled nursing services through the writing of individual student health plans and implementation of school district health services policies and procedures.  Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants must possess a 4-year Bachelors of Science Nursing degree, have a current State of Wisconsin Department of Regulations Registered Nurse license, must have or be eligible to receive Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction School Nurse license.

Job Title:  Full-time High School Special Education Teacher – Cumberland High School

Job Description:  Candidate must have excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.  Experience with special education paperwork and procedures, including functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans, is desired.  Applicants must value the importance of maintaining student rapport.  

This position entails working with students in grades 9-12.  The candidate is responsible for case management duties, communicating with parents and staff, writing and implementing IEPs, as well as completing other duties as assigned.

Extracurricular and coaching opportunities are also available.

Qualifications:  Wisconsin Special Education License 830-Emotional Behavioral Disability or 801-Cross Categorical with EBD emphasis is preferred.  Licensure in 801-Cross Categorical with LD emphasis and 811-Learning Disability will be considered.  Must be certified 5-12 (Early Adolescence through Adolescence) or PK-K-12 (Birth through Adolescence).  Willingness to obtain other certifications is desired.
