Lexi recently underwent a successful heart transplant at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, and we are all cheering her on in her recovery! 💪🎉

This #CSDGoBeavers student got into the Valentine’s Day spirit by sculpting a beautiful heart out of snow! 🥰 What a perfect way to celebrate the season of love with a bit of winter magic!

💙💛 All Cumberland FFA District Leadership Development event competitors are headed to Sectionals!
Six Cumberland FFA members participated in the District One FFA LDE (Leadership Development Event) on February 5th at Spooner High School. Highlights included Charlotte Odden winning the District Extemporaneous Speaking Contest and the Middle School Quiz Bowl Team placing 2nd in their contest area. The Quiz Bowl Team was composed of Brady Jackson, Carter Jackson, Jack Odden, Braxton Riebe, and Tani Riebe. All will advance to the sectional contest in April at Amery High School!
💙💛 Cumberland FFA Members attended the Half-Time Leadership Conference!
Emma Organ and Charlotte Odden represented the Cumberland FFA at the Wisconsin FFA Half-Time Leadership Conference in Stevens Point.




🎤 In English class, our #CSDGoBeavers 8th graders prepared "Brown Bag" Speeches, showcasing their individuality and public speaking skills!
Each student was able to bring in five items that represented them and explained each one to the class. It was fun to learn more about one another through this speech. 🙂

⛷️ Ski Club members made the most of this week’s warm temperatures with a fantastic afternoon of classic skiing at Timberland Hills! It was great to get outside and enjoy the trails.

Big congratulations to the winners of the Space Landers STEM Challenge! 🚀
These #CSDGoBeaver fifth graders all soared to new heights with their creativity, innovation, and teamwork. From designing cutting-edge space landers to overcoming engineering challenges, they proved that the sky is definitely not the limit! 🎆

🎭🖌️ Our 7th and 8th Grade Art Club members dove into their creativity this month, experimenting with acrylic pour paintings, clay, and paper mache masks.
Students explored at their own pace, resulting in some truly beautiful masterpieces. Way to go, young #CSDGoBeavers artists! ❤️





Our #CSDGoBeavers health students are wearing their knowledge on their sleeves - literally! 👕
They have been studying human body systems and created anatomically correct t-shirts to get to the heart of their learning. GREAT work! 🫀👏

🎶 Eight talented members of the Cumberland Choir spent an inspiring day rehearsing with Dr. Cera Babbs at the Red Cedar Honor Choir!
The day ended with a fantastic concert alongside students from across the Red Cedar music conference, hosted at Barron High School.

🎿❄️ No snow? No problem!
The Ski Club wasn’t about to let a lack of snow in Cumberland hold them back! Instead, they hit the road to Cable, WI, where snowy trails were calling their name. The adventure was worth every mile—perfect trails and a night of fun skiing! 😁

👉 Check out this STEM challenge!
Ms. Dahlberg and Mrs. Marschall's 5th graders competed in a STEM challenge where they had to build a raft that could hold the most pennies. 🪙They were given six straws, two rubber bands, and one foot of tape!
Through trial and error, they learned the importance of not having any holes or gaps in their raft. It was a fun learning experience for everyone!

🏀❤️ A night to celebrate our AMAZING teachers!
Our #CSDGoBeavers girl's basketball team hosted Teacher Appreciation Night at their home game, inviting staff to attend and be recognized for their dedication and support to our students. 📚
It was a fantastic turnout and a heartfelt way to show gratitude to all of our incredible CSD staff members! Thank you for all you do! 👏

🎄🎁 Ugly Sweater Day at the middle school was a hit!
One of the best parts? So many of these festive sweaters came with fun stories to share! It was a day full of laughter, holiday spirit, and creative fashion choices! 🤣

🌲🛶 Some of our #CSDGoBeavers 5th and 6th graders had an opportunity to work with birch bark to make mini canoe Christmas ornaments in Mr. LaBlanc's room. They also were able to try some amazing Native American frybread!
